These are unprecedented days for our generation. Yet, while we have never experienced anything like this kind of global upheaval, this kind of trouble is neither surprising or unfamiliar to God. In the Old Testament God raised up Joseph at a key moment in world history when a famine spread across the world. God instructed to Joseph to store up grain so that they were prepared with provisions to endure the years of famine. This is a moment when the world is facing a potential economic famine. Though the future is unclear, already people are experiencing job loss, income reduction, and financial pressures. As these days extend indefinitely, financial needs will abound as the economy experiences significant slowing or loss. We believe it’s in this hour that, through Christ, the church is called to step into a “Joseph” role and to provide for those who are in need. What this means for Antioch Community Church is that we continue to be givers during this season. We want to find ways that we can continue to give to the local church so that through the church we can meet as many needs as possible. If you are in need of financial assistance please (CLICK HERE).
